ABOUT MY CLASSES:
In my classes, I like to encourage the students to think as much on their own as possible. I push them to their limits and help them to realize they can do as much as their mind will let them. We have fun and work hard at the same time :) We go outside to learn in nice weather, use manipulatives, make projects, and interact as a group and individually. My plan is to continue with each group through middle school, then you branch off for the high school grades. One big thing I ask is for as much parent involvement as you can give! I do send homework after just about every class and I need the parents to help with the responsibility of getting it done. For the pre-algebra and algebra classes, I do believe at that age they should be learning responsibility of their own and learning the consequences for not doing the work. In this case, please instill in them the importance of it to further their knowledge and effectiveness in the class. 

Since we are a faith-based family, there may occasionally be biblical stories included or referenced for the purpose of the topic at hand. I hold my students in high moral regard so everyone feels safe in my home. It's important to me that I take care of the hearts in my home. This is one reason why I homeschool :) Please feel free to ask any questions that you might have!
